Built around Milwaukee’s advanced M18 FUEL platform, this portable mag drill combines cordless mobility with the power and precision traditionally associated with corded magnetic drilling systems. 

Powered by a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor and REDLINK PLUS™ electronics, the magnetic drill delivers high-performance annular cutting capability up to 1-1/2 inches in structural steel while maintaining consistent torque under load. The cordless design eliminates generator dependence and extension cord limitations, making the tool especially valuable for transmission towers, utility poles, bridge structures, and remote steel fabrication work. 

The permanent magnetic base maintains secure holding power independently from battery power, helping improve operator safety during elevated drilling applications. Milwaukee’s integrated AUTOSTOP™ lift-off detection system automatically shuts down the motor if sudden rotational movement indicates potential tool instability or magnetic loss.
